Amazing Artists...

Christo and Jeanne-Claude are a married couple who create environmental works of art. I think they are amazing and would love to have seen one in the flesh, my lucky parents happened to be in NYC when they had  The Gates in Central Park.

Their works include the wrapping of the Reichstag in Berlin and the Pont-Neuf bridge in Paris, the 24-mile-long artwork called Running Fence in Sonoma and Marin counties in California. 

Coincidentally Christo and Jeanne-Claude were born on the same date, 13 June 1935, and allegedly in the same hour.

Sloane Tanen

I saw the yoga image above in the Sunday Times years ago and it still makes me laugh. Sloane Tanen has produced a series of books using little chicks, great sets and witty lines. Her books are hilarious... I recently bought one for my friend who's expecting called Hatched, The Big Push from Pregnancy to Motherhood.
