The Desire...

I recently purchased the HTC Desire. I had low expectations only because I had been holding out to get an iphone (like most designers I love all things apple). I couldn't change networks and my phone went bust so I decided on the Desire as a poor substitute but I was so wrong, I love it, honestly the best invention ever!! I particularly love all the photo apps... I have played around with a few. The quality isn't great on some but I purchased an app today Vignette and the quality seems better.

The HTC hasn't helped my obsession with photographing my doggie Lia, she just so gorgeous I can't stop!

Off to Offset...

Very excited about Offset this weekend! I love returning to Dublin, looking forward to Paulie's Pizza, Juniors for breakfast and Saba for dinner and cocktails! 

Back from the wilderness...

Oh it's been so long since I posted anything... no real reason other that being busy, busy, busy all summer long! I'll try and post some more as I am stockpiling lots of cool stuff... like these great Dublin photographers StudioSeventySeven who shot these great pics for the band Wounded Knees.

Amazing Italian Home...

Hello, sorry for the lack of posts these last few months, I've no real excuse except lots of overtime, bootcamp two nights a week and it's summer so I've been out n' about a bit. I'm off this week though, heading to London on Thursday so I'll try to get a few posts in! Thanks to Kevin of Hollywood Forever for reminding me to keep posting. Sew London...

Sorry for the lack of posts - I was in London for 5 days visiting friends and we had so much fun, I'm worn out from eating, drinking and laughing! 

I just love walking around London, taking it all in... the way people dress, the shop fronts, the gorgeous dogs! We spotted Tracey Emin while having breakfast in Jacks of Queens Park! She was so cool! We spent a few hours shopping in Westfield and passed this fab window display for All Saints.

My bedroom...

This weekend the paint brushes were out as the gorgeous clouds I had ordered from Bookhou arrived during the week and I couldn't wait to complete my bedroom. I designed the Love poster last minute on friday and got it printed before I headed home. The bedspread is Orla Kiely, the bed, lockers and cabinet are from the Vinstra range in Ikea. The lamps and plain grey throw are from TK Maxx. The paint is Pale Peacock from Dulux. The Magazine rack is the illuzine magazine rack by Umbra.

The Vintage radio was my Granny's and I love having it in my house, reminding me of her, she was the most amazing woman, ahead of her time.

Mad Men...

On Saturday night I was given the box set of Mad Men and my hubby and I (despite the rare sunny weather) have barely pressed pause! I love the plot, the advertising pitches, the smoking and drinking (shocking amounts). The clothes and women are AMAZING but it's the furniture that's really stealing my heart, I love the simplicity, the tones, the amazing lamps, office spaces, divine chairs and the little details like gorgeous drinking glasses. If you haven't watched I'd highly recommend the box set... just don't make any plans once you purchase!

Baby soother...

I ordered this colourful mobile from Pukapuka on SuperMarket. It's for my friends beautiful new daughter Evie, isn't it sweet?

Just got me thinking...

Don't you love how a trip around some blogs sparks off an idea in your head and then you can't get it out of your head and then all the other things you were obsessing about are suddenly not that important anymore? Yes, me too!

I'm now thinking I could get someone to build me some shelves kinda like this for my bedroom and it would not only look great but everything would have a home!! Todays inspiration was provided by a great sneak peak on DesignSponge.
